December 14–20, 2025 | Allure of the Seas

This Western Caribbean itinerary offers coordinated birding at every port of call, including Nassau, Puerto Costa Maya, and Cozumel. Excursions explore a range of habitats, including coastal wetlands, mangroves, forest edges, lagoons, and lightly developed natural areas near the port, providing opportunities to observe both resident and migratory bird species.

Birding outings are led by knowledgeable local guides who are familiar with regional birdlife and seasonal conditions. Each excursion is planned in advance and carefully timed to align with the ship’s schedule, allowing guests to enjoy meaningful birding experiences without feeling rushed.

7-Night Canada & New England Birding Cruise

September 21–28, 2025 | Brilliance of the Seas

This Canada and New England itinerary included birding opportunities in Maritime Canada and coastal New England, with typical stops such as Halifax, Saint John, and Charlottetown. Excursions focused on coastal habitats, urban green spaces, waterfront parks, and nearby natural areas where regional birdlife is commonly observed.

The cruise concluded in Boston, where guests met with local Audubon members for a birding meet-up and shared lunch on September 28. This added a community-focused element to the itinerary and highlighted Birding Beyond’s connection to local conservation organizations and birding communities.

7-Night Greece, Cyprus & Turkey Birding Cruise

July 11–18, 2025 | Brilliance of the Seas

This Eastern Mediterranean itinerary combined cultural exploration with birding opportunities across Greece, Cyprus, and Turkey. Birding excursions were coordinated in ports including Santorini, Rhodes, Limassol, Kusadasi (Ephesus), and Mykonos.

Excursions explored coastal zones, rocky hillsides, agricultural landscapes, wetlands, and historic sites with surrounding natural areas. Local guides provided insight into regional birdlife and seasonal conditions, offering guests the opportunity to experience Mediterranean birding alongside some of the region’s most iconic destinations.

8-Night Hawaii to Vancouver Birding Cruise

April 28–May 6, 2025 | Quantum of the Seas
Plus pre- and post-cruise birding

This transpacific itinerary included birding in Hawaii, scenic cruising past Kauai, and arrival in Vancouver. Birding activities were extended beyond the cruise itself, with organized birding days in Honolulu on April 27, before sailing, and in Vancouver following arrival.

Excursions focused on island habitats in Hawaii, including coastal and upland environments, and on Pacific Northwest habitats around Vancouver. This itinerary offered a broad ecological transition from tropical to temperate environments and demonstrated Birding Beyond’s ability to coordinate birding beyond the ship’s formal itinerary.

7-Night Cabo, Vallarta & Mazatlán Birding Cruise

March 7–14, 2025 | Navigator of the Seas

This Mexican Riviera itinerary included birding at Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlán, and Puerto Vallarta. Excursions explored desert-edge habitats, coastal lagoons, wetlands, forested foothills, and urban green spaces near the port.

Local guides led outings tailored to port schedules, allowing guests to experience a range of birdlife in western Mexico while maintaining a relaxed, cruise-friendly pace. Sea days were used for informal birding discussions, birding at sea, and group meetups on board.

5-Night Eastern Caribbean Birding Cruise

January 19–24, 2025 | Grandeur of the Seas

This short Eastern Caribbean itinerary included birding in Labadee, Haiti, and Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. Excursions focused on coastal habitats, dry forest, and managed natural areas near the port.

Designed as an early-season sailing, this cruise offered an accessible introduction to birding while cruising and set the foundation for Birding Beyond’s expanded lineup later in the year.

These sailings reflect Birding Beyond’s early approach to coordinated birding across cruise itineraries, working with local guides and conservation-minded partners to create meaningful experiences at sea and ashore.
